DP: Nightmares

Today’s Daily Prompt says ‘Describe the last nightmare you remember having. What do you think it meant?’

I have a recurring nightmare. I haven’t had it for a while, but it was all the time when I was little. It’s the only one I can remember. My father and I are on a beach. Newquay beach, in Cornwall. There’s nobody else they’re, and we’re driving towards the sea. We pull up and open the doors. Then, many small scorpions come piling in – we slam the doors and drive again, spinning round, but more scorpions appear. They never actually stung either of us, but I remember leaping out of the car and running towards the sea. I guess I hoped to drown them. I fall, though, and all goes black.

What does it mean? I don’t know, I’ve got a scorpion phobia? I don’t think so though, I’ve held quite a few! Eh, what do you think?
