Trifecta: Profile Questions!

On the Trifecta site I found the Meet Your Fellows page, which contained a series of questions to build a small profile about yourself. I thought, why not?

What is your name (real or otherwise)?

Tom will do nicely. Please and thank you.

Describe your writing style in three words.

My thought stream.

How long have you been writing online?

A few months now, so not all that long.

Which, if any, other writing challenges do you participate in?

The wordpress weekly challenge, and I try to daily prompt every day!

Describe one way in which you could improve your writing.

Probably the use of different narrative voices.

What is the best writing advice you’ve ever been given?

Rejection is part of the deal. Write how you like. Accept critique, but don’t mould yourself to it. It’s only your writing if you’re writing how you like to write – let people appreciate that.

Who is your favorite author?

J.R.R. Tolkien without a doubt!

How do you make time to write?

I write whenever I can. Often on the walk home from college, in the evenings at my desk, or on Sunday afternoons after work. Mondays and Fridays are the hardest though!

Give us one word we should consider using as a prompt. Remember–it must have a third definition.

Perhaps ‘reap’ would make for interesting responses. Feel free to check it, it has a third definition at dictionary.com!

Direct us to one blog post of yours that we shouldn’t miss reading.

Check out this one, a post about the joys of writing in green ink!

Thank you!
